Seeing Jesus in Genesis - September 2019 Reading Plan

I love Genesis, it is jam packed full of so much that we can learn from and talk about. This September I really want to focus on what Genesis has to teach us about Jesus.

Jesus says in John 5:39,

You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me,

At that time the scripture that was available was what we know as the Old Testament, Jesus and the Apostles used the OT to prove that He was the Messiah. That being said, I myself have had a hard time seeing Him in the OT for most of my life and I think many of us today have that same struggle.

So let’s do this, let’s start by walking through Genesis together with our eyes open to see how it can teach us about Jesus and the Gospel!
